IT'S GAMEDAY!

It’s game day in Nebraska, and all is well. If you aren’t excited for the first football game of the year, you should probably just leave now.
It may seem a bit odd for a girl who studied fashion to love football, but that’s the truth. I absolutely love college football – I will watch any game, any night. It doesn’t matter the opponents. I just love the atmosphere and passion that surrounds the sport.
Although I’m not going to the game today (I prefer to watch them on TV because I’m both deaf and blind), I will definitely be watching every play of Mike Riley’s debut against BYU on ABC this afternoon. I’m excited to see where Riley will take the program. I was always a half-hearted fan of Bo Pelini, but, as with everything in life, it was time for a change. Riley seems to have a great demeanor that surrounds him, and I hope to see that positivity permeate the program, players, and fans.
So make sure to turn your TV to ABC at 2:30 on the dot. Let’s give Riley the support he needs on his first game day experience in Memorial Stadium. It won’t be a cupcake game, that’s for sure – but who doesn’t love a challenge?!
